I am in a shared server and wanted to change my password. I tried

    asdfgoir.qw.tre.375

and the strength for this is 12, so I cannot use it.

Is there an explanation of this strength / password size ?

    Thanks to all

Are you the host of this server? If not, you might want to ask them about their Password Strength Configuration settings which are adjustable via WHM > Security Center > Password Strength Configuration page.

    Will do, thanks.

They told me yesterday that cpanel doesn't like too many characters in the password.

Just to close this issue. (sort of)

There is some bug in a version of cpanel. My hosting upgraded it and the problem was solved.

    Thanks to all
