Password Protect Account on Creation

    Is there anyway to get cPanel to password protect an account on creation? I'd like to have a cPanel set up an account, password protect the public_html directory using a .htaccess file (with a random password) and then email the details along with the other log in stuff generated.

    There are no native options available with cPanel/WHM that will allow for that configuration. Instead, you would need to use our developer resources to implement a custom script for this. The following document may be of interest to you:
