I have a user with the site bar.com. He can password protect directories within bar.com just fine and all is well. However he made a subdomain at http://foo.bar.com and there are issues. If he has a directory http://foo.bar/com/kepout that he wants password protected the options in cPanel do not function as desired. He set up everything correctly for that directory to be protected BUT the result is that ALL of http://foo.bar.com is protected. This is causing problems fo teh user and I'd like to be able to resolve it. Anyone have an idea f whats going on and why?

As usual, about two minutes after posting my question here I have found the issue. It seems the user was calling an image that resides in the password protected directory from the index.html file in the home directory of the subdomain. All fixed now.
