Hello all - I'm new to using cpanel and am trying to set permissions on certain folders. I've looked up on the forum (and google search) and found that it's pretty straightforward using the Password Protect Directory option from the cpanel home screen.

However, under the "security" section of mine, there are only two options - IP Deny Manager and GnuPG Keys. Is there a way to add more options? On screenshots and walk through videos I've looked at, people usually have 4 or 5 options here including the Password Protect... one. Many thanks!

You would need to contact your hosting provider to add this functionality for your account. Hosting providers have a substantial ability to customize our software, including the ability to remove icons from the cPanel interface.
