Password Protect Entire Site

    I know how to password protect directories in my site. But I want to password protect the entire site.

    In Cpanel>Password Protect Directories the root folder is not a link so you can't choose it to password protect it.

    Do I have to write the htdocs myself or can I do this with Cpanel.

    DataCenter Provider
    Lick the icon Password protect directories and click the "/"

    Or am I missing somthing here that will password protechet the entire website

    That was what I was looking for. Somehow I overlooked that I could click on the "/".

    I have a similar problem. I am trying to password protect 1 file but you can only do folders. I do I password protect the one 1 file
