Is there a script (or function in cPanel that I've not found) that emails a user a reminder of his/her password? I often have customers contacting me saying they've forgotten their account passwords and I would really appreciate such a script!!!

As an admin it would also be useful for when Resellers change the password of accounts and I then have to trouble shoot them.

    Thanks

    Go on, have a guess
Account passwords are one-way encrypted the best you can do is to enable the feature in WHM > Tweak Settings > Allow cPanel users to reset their password via email. However, be aware of the security implications of that system (there was a bog whole in it some time back, for example).

Damn! Really? that's a pain (but good for security I guess).

Didn't realize this could be easily turned off. Just did so. (Will do just about anything to make my server more secure!)

    Thanks for the 411!
