Hello ccalby,

Please open up a ticket in WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel or using the link in my signature for us to investigate this further. It isn't possible via the forum to diagnose why this is occurring, since we cannot test the passwords provided due to the security implications of posting those details publicly.

Thanks!

Hi I am also getting this error when trying to migrate accounts to my new server:

Basic credential check...

The password you provided is not correct.

Enter passphrase for key '/root/.ssh/[email protected]':
Enter passphrase for key '/root/.ssh/[email protected]':
sshcmdpermissiondeny

Done
Errors:
Password not given
Basic credential check failed

The password I am typing is the correct one since I can login via ssh in putty and put the same password.
