I am having a peculiar problem with my server. The server and the domains hosted in it respond to ping, i can check my mails, enter in WHM and Cpanel but the webpages are not getting displayed.
I can view the other files like gif, jpg, etc by typing the path, but the shtml (pages are not opening) I have also checked the MIME type and it states shtml in the list of System Defined Mime Types. I can view HTML files but not the SHTML files.
The server was working normally till day before yesterday when suddenly this problem occured. I have also raised a ticket to the hosting company, but till now they are not being able to solve the problem.
Could anyone suggest a remedy to this issue.
