Well it seems i've been selling x space and x bandwidth for a certain price and my reseller has added a bunch of clients and stuff and made packages.

Now the question is before I had enabled overselling this month and I just took it away cause they used 40gb more than x bandwidth. Now the questions is now that I took it away, starting september first will this reseller only beable to sell x space and x bandwidth without going over?

Also I dont quite understand the (Warning: This will allow circumvention of account package limits if you are not using resource limits) features.

May I ask what other hosts are using for there accounts? And if my reseller uses up all the bandwidth and space over him and all his clients is everyone going to get shutdown or will I have to manualy until he upgrades his package?

I will post what I have enabled in a second.

This is my default RCL some things I enable on a case by case such as ssl no need to enable if the reseller does not have at least one IP and DNS do not enable becuse the average reseller has no clue ho DNS works and just mess things up when they try and edit so will only enable if requested and they know what they are doing

There is a trick that resellers can get up to that allows them to oversell even if you have overselling turned off. They can create a package of x space and x bandwidth, then use the "Quota Modification" and "Limit Bandwidth Usage" options to over ride the package settings. Since the system uses the package allocations to calculate the resources remaining available to resellers, they can keep creating new accounts even through they have allocated all their resources to customers.

I know this is a old topic but its better to reply to it than to start a new one.

I have a question about WHM stoping resellers whos users use more than there accounts allow.

    Reseller a:

    Limits

    12gb space
    15gb band

One of his clients used 130gb bandwidth and the reseller still hasnt gone down. >.<

Is it supposed to go down? if not whats the point of those limits? am I going to have to close there account by hand?

    Thanks

yours is turnd on it should be fine if you granted your resller the abillitiy to create unlimited space and bandwidth accounts I would check to see
and look to see what bandwith the acoount exceeding there limit are set at

Disable Suspending accounts that exceed their bandwidth limit (will clear all suspensions is disabled)
