perl issue

    i got new box


    REHL4-x32


    and comes with per5.8.9

    i tried to install alot of plugins and scripts and not work with it etc. (csf)

    is there anyway to downgrad perl to 5.8.8 or make this scripts work without any troubles ?

    Suggestions:

    Look in /usr/share for the Perl stuff.

    Also, do the following:

    use "which perl" command to get the path of the executable and do a
    Code:
     rpm -qlp perl-x.x.x...
    This will list all the files and where they should get installed. For RedHat, it's likely /usr/bin/perl or /usr/local/bin/perl and one may be a link to the other.
