    hi
since the Cpanel upgrade I got:

    ./fixperlscript
    /usr/bin/perl: relocation error: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/CORE/libperl.so: undefined symbol: Perl_pp_msgget

    what can I do?

    /etc/init.d/pure-ftpd start
    Starting pure-config.pl: /usr/bin/perl: relocation error: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/CORE/libperl.so: undefined symbol: Perl_pp_msgget
    [FAILED]

I run a Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 3 (Taroon Update 4)
    thanks

    Go on, have a guess
Do you have perl* in your up2date pkgskiplist? If not, then you have allowed RHE to upgrade the version of perl cPanel installed and that is likely why it is now corrupted. IF so, you need to:

    1. Add perl* to your pkgskiplist up2date configuration

    2. Re-install perl using the script from http://layer1.cpanel.net
