I am having a heck of a time with the perl upgrade script &perl561installer.tar.gz&. I ran the script and I get through the majority of the upgrade but I get hung in a endless loop when I get to the following part. It seems no mater what I enter (even option 'q') I can not quit or skip this part of the search.

Please help me understand what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks!

I'm having the same problem here. Is there a way to correct this?

Until Nick updates the expect scripts that do the install, you will need to run make and make install manually for the perl install. You will also need to run the perlmod installer manually in the installscripts directory in the perl installer package.
