Perlexed - Whm crashed but server still running.

It all started when I attemted to upgrade to mysql 5, It didn't work and apache crashed, I managed to downgrade back to mysql 4.1 and get apache running again, but then whm crashes on me so I can't log in to it. I can get in via ssh, and mysql and apache run just fine.

I've tryed /scripts/upcp --force and still whm will not work.

at the moment i am quite perplexed on how to fix this problem.

Do you mean you can't access the WHM because of user/password, or something else? Did you try accessing the secure and non-secure -- http://IP:2086 and https://IP:2087
