permission and owner settings for /home/<name>/public_html/tmp

    permission and owner settings for /home/<name>/tmp

    What are the proper permissions and owner settings for /home/<name>l/tmp

    (The public_html does not belong in the subject line)

    Use 755 for the tmp folder inside username

    Yes, the default permissions for /home/$user/tmp are 0755 with ownership set to the account username.
