    Hello,

Every file or folder that has been created by a PHP script ran from the browser creates a folder/file where the owner is nobody, so latter when the owner wants to edit/delete the folder/file he does not have permissions to do so.

I am running 11.23.6-RELEASE on Centos 5, this is the case for every user on the machine.

    phpsuexec is off.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Running these commands as root should fix this.

    Code:

    for CPAccess in `ls -A /var/cpanel/users`; do chown -R $CPAccess:$CPAccess /home/$CPAccess; done

    for CPAccess in `ls -A /var/cpanel/users`; do chown -R $CPAccess:mail /home/$CPAccess/etc /home/$CPAccess/mail; done

    for CPAccess in `ls -A /var/cpanel/users`; do chown -R $CPAccess:nobody /home/$CPAccess/public_html; done

You really should consider upgrading apache and adding SuPHP. THen you won't have this problem.

Lots of threads on this topic on these forums. Lots of them. ;)
