    Hi Guys,

Hopefully one of you may have come across this before.

We have a few users, using curl to communicate with their payment gateways.
For some reaosn, the user reported they were having troubles about 2 weeks ago.
I check the directory and the permissions were not set correctly so they could read the cabundle file.
I chmod 0755 the directory and it all came good again.

Fast forward to today, and the directory has changed back to the old permissions and the user is stuffed again.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening, and more importantly what I could do to keep it at the right permissions???

We are running Centos 4.5 and with cPanel 10 (Well, we are upgrading to 11 today actually)

One idea is to just run a cronjob every hour, but that seems like a messy workaround insteady of a solution.

    Ta,
    Craig

    Howdy,

No I never really got any concrete answer.

I just setup a cron job to run every hour and chmod the directory back to the permissions I expected.

If anyone has any more info, feel free to drop us a line.

    Craig

I'd suspect something in upcp is doing that. Not long ago I lost all my ssl certs because some part of cpanel, and had to have them all reissued (it happened to wipe out the installed certs the same day as my backup server lost two drives)
