Permissions problem

    My hostees sometimes get a

    Forbidden
    You don't have permission to access /~deadmeat on this server.

    For every page on their website. Its not the chmod, but I dont know how to fix this...can anyone help??

    try logging into shell and going to the /home/username directory (replace username with her username) and use the code:

    Code:
    chown username.nobody public_html
    Replacing username with her username. That should alter the permissions. Or simply chmod it to 755

    Do this at your own risk.
