I have a client who wants a third party to manage there e-mail accounts... is it possible to setup a user account in C-Panel that prohibits users to operate anything other than e-mail?

Essentially... I do not wish to provide the third party with access to the file management system, stats/logs, FTP, etc.

    Any ideas?

You can do it by creating a new plan, and a new feature set which is only email related functions enabled. And give that feature set to the new plan.

Also there must be some skins (xmail ?) for showing email functions only, IIRC.

The cPanel theme x3mail will do the job. However, if I understand the OP's inquiry correctly, they are looking to add a second cPanel user to their cPanel account with this limited functionality, which is not possible at this time.

    Oh! I misunderstood the OP.

But still there is a workaround.
They cannot manage all the emails in one place like cPanel, but they can manage them one by one by accessing:
    http://domain.tld:2095

For creating and deleting accounts, you have to write a custom script.
