I have cpdavd cPanel DAV Daemon disabled in Service Manager, but it still continues to run. Currently I blocked the ports but what can I do so it does not start at all?

    I have the same problem...

If I reboot the server, cpdavd is not load... But, if I restart the service cpanel with service cpanel restart, the cpdavd will run! :(

I disble this in service manager too...

    Hello,

    Here is my synopsis (11.23.1-B24640):

When you uncheck 'Enabled' and 'Monitor' for cpdavd in WHM's Service Manager:

    a) That will stop the currently running one
    b) `/scripts/restartsrv_cpdavd` will no longer start it
    c) `service cpanel restart` *will* start it

    'c' is definitely a problem

Agree that a, b and c are now solved but running upcp restarts it.

    (11.23.3-C25049)

This should only be happening when changing trees and is caused from a combination of STABLE's not having the fix merged into it yet and tree changing using the STABLE cpdavd init start script temporarily in upcp.

This should be resolved for everyone once STABLE is rev 25098 or higher.

    thanks!

I'm sorry but i can't find STABLE rev 25098 anywhere, not even in the changelog (http://changelog.cpanel.net/).

So far, i'm running STABLE 24739 and the changelog confirms that 24739 is the latest.
