Phishing Activity on Website

    My website is a - Removed - website, today I got call from some bank security team, them told me my website have some fishing activity happening from your website.
    How it possible? My website is HTTPS enable, I have not share my password to any one. I check my website through Cpanel it really one folder was injected, how it possible, my hosting company unable to help me.
    Can some one help me to fix this issue or guide me.

    Hi,

    Using HTTPS does not mean that you are secure. HTTPS is actually for other users to know that their transaction with you are going encrypted and safe. It does not stop from your website hosting Phishing contents.

    Scan your website properly. A backdoor on your website may be identified by the attacker to put the Phishing contents...

    Hello,

    The "Raw Access" option in cPanel will allow you to review the website's access logs:

    Raw Access - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

    You can try going back in the logs to see if you can find how the website was exploited.
