Anyone have the best recommended way to upgrade to 4.3.10 in order to combat the latest worm?

    To quote the site:

[15-Dec-2004] The PHP Development Team would like to announce the immediate release of PHP 4.3.10 and PHP 5.0.3. These are maintenance releases that in addition to non-critical bug fixes address several very serious security issues. All Users of PHP are strongly encouraged to upgrade to one of these releases as soon as possible.

In order to be secure, you need to update both phpbb AND php (if you have both of them). There are two separate major vulnerabilities here and exploits are out for both of them. Upgrade phpbb to 2.0.11 and php to 4.3.10

Oh I understand that - I don't use phpBB - I use Simple Machines Forum. It doesn't suffer from the same number of security holes, and it integrates better with other applications. But thank you for the advice :)
