    hey, my host says he's waiting on u to update cPanel for PHP 4.3.2, which has been out for a while. Can you please update this?

    cPanel has already upgraded it. It's up to your host to run the buildapache script.

    Ye but it doesnt run under phpsuexec. So whats the big hurry to upgrade to it anyway?

    Hmmm... kinda funny I just ran the easyapache which downloads the buildapache from layer1 but still have 4.3.1 version of php. Also while watching it compile it compiled version 4.3.1 not 4.3.2.

    you need to un-check the "downgrade to 4.3.1" option (which is checked by default)...

    please excuse me ignorance...

    but where is it checked "downgrade to 4.3.1" I dont remember seeing it there when I ran /scripts/easyapache

    I am not able to fine a check box for it in the WHM.

    Thank you... I found it.

    The downgrade option is when running /scripts/easyapache. In order to get this you must choose option 6 for advanced users and go to the php selection screen. Got 2 going as we speak and have some more to go after these.

    One problem I am having though is compiling php with postgresql support. I keep getting errors even though postgresql is installed and running.

    Why dont easy apache install php 4.3.2 by default? Is Cpanel Team still testing it?

    Because phpsuexec is currently broken with PHP 4.3.2.
