cPanel just provide an easy way to install PHP they're not the creators of it or should be responsible for it's bugs. Enable core dumps and grab one of the dumps and debug it. Then file a bug report with PHP at PHP :: Bugs

PHP is full of bugs and crashes every version is a new surprise. PHP :: Bug #51265 :: Segfault because of wrong memory allocation is an example of one we're seeing on some machines for some PHP scripts.

It's never as easy as just upgrading and saying everything is going to work the same. Lately PHP releases have had quite a few crash bugs in them that seem to affect a wide variety of situations.

Well thats strange cause you know everything. But the problem only occurs when option imap is set in php and only in php 5.3.1 and php 5.3.2 so it has to do something with cpanel

If you require technical support then please open a support ticket. You can accomplish this by clicking the support link in the upper right corner of this web page, or via this link:

The license provider or reseller is able to escalate the support request directly on your behalf; this will ensure higher priority and I recommend giving this avenue a try.

Please also note the Additional Support Options page.

Have you tried the same IMAP option using PHP 5.2.x (e.g., 5.2.13) to see if this alleviates the difficulty? Does the issue still occur when PHP 5.2 is used instead of PHP 5.3?

The problem only exisist in 5.3.1 and 5.3.2 in 5.2.13 all goes smoothly it has to do something with CentOS not the kernel cause on my other server i have centos with different kernel and i have same problems.
