I just upgraded my server to PHP 5.0.1 via Web Host Manager and all seems to have gone well EXCEPT I can't use the new SOAP features.

From what I have read, to enable SOAP on PHP 5, you must run the ./configure command with the --enable-soap option. Well, that is fine--but there is no option to do that in Web Host Manager.

Does that mean I have to do a manual compile of PHP now? I don't want to "break" with Web Host Manager and have to start doing everything manually--if that's the case, then why use CPanel at all!
