    Hi all,

I've a requirement to install Apache, PHP with MySQL support without mysql server installed locally in the server as the MySQL Server is a backend server for the Web Servers. I've already installed php-mysql rpm, mysqlclient rpm in the frontends. But when i compile php with the mysql support i keep getting the error

configure: error: Cannot find libmysqlclient under /usr.

Whereas the libmysqlclient is very much there in the /usr/lib64

I did try copying the so files in the /usr and tried to compile with no luck. Can some one please let me know where i'm doing wrong. Thanking you in advance.

    With regards,
