!@#$%MOst Importantally. What ecomm tool are you using?!@#$%

I am redeveloping a website for a garment manufacturer. They create products which come in a host of sizes and colors. Sizing affects price and there is a desire to have the database check inventory and let the customer know that there is one in inventory. If no inventory just proceed to checkout.

I am on a linux box with as you may guess cPanel and think I need to use a PHP based shopping cart tool to create the dynamic pages.

I feel that they must be dynamic since inventory and styles change often.

Do I have to use a PHP based tool? If so which one? If not what would you use? What are you using? Please include URLS.

Isn't OSCommerce PHP Based..... And doesn't it come with Cpanel.. I love this thing to death. Pretty efficient and doesn't hog stuff like Interchange.

I have the latest cpanel stable 7.2.1 and you can find the oscommerce inside addon scripts. Like Taz sais oscommerce is "Pretty efficient "

I have been using oscommerce before cpanel had added it to the addon section. they have a forum with excellent support from everyone that uses it.

Here's a site I had done for a client of mine if you want to see exactly what you can do with this program. http://www.indeglow.com/catalog

Got it. Didn't have that feature turned in in my Web Host Manager. Will play with it and see if it is going to be robust enough for my use. I have over 250 products with countless variables per item. If there is something better for this please feel free to pass it along
