   I am new to sending mails with php. after reading some materials on it, i cannot find the php.ini file. please help. i need step by step on fow to setup the php.ini to be able to send emails. i am using xampp 1.7.7

   What do you mean by:
   

   As a Website Owner, you wouldn't have access to the php.ini, you'd need to speak with your Hosting Provider. What problems are you having trying to send mail, exactly?
