    magic_quotes Off
    file_uploads On
    session.auto_start Off
    session.use_trans_sid Off

    PHP Extensions
    MySQL OK
    /////// Below is the Problem////////
    GD X
    cURL X
    OpenSSL X
    ///////Above is the problem/////

    Same Problem

    Hi,

I need to fix a few problems and they are both related to PHP 5 with extentions.

php_extension mbstring should be installed and enabled for best results
Installing the optional MBSTRING library is highly recommended in order to improve site performance, particularly if your site is supporting non-Latin languages.

php_extension xmlrpc should be installed and enabled for best results
Installing the optional xmlrpc extension is useful for Moodle Networking functionality.

How do I get these installed... I have already tried the yum command for installing and got no where...

Please help... it seems there needs to be a php extensions area for checking on or off those extensions on the fly... or install a full extensions package...

    Please help?

    Jean

You can enable the modules via easyapache script. :)

    GD X
    cURL X
    OpenSSL X
    MBSTRING
    xmlrpc

    /scripts/easyapache

but my server only has 256MB ram, i think easyapache requires 512?
    or am i wrong?

is there any other option to easyapache,
though i will upgrade to 512MB when i renew hosting subscription in early nov.

and thanx for the fast reply,
    mike.

edit" like a shell command to enable it?

    PHP extensions

You need to compile PHP manually with missing extensions on the server to sort out this.

Please check your phpinfo on the server and then add missing extensions and compile it on shell.

    :)

You can run EasyApache via the command line to substantially reduce the amount of RAM required. The command is: /scripts/easyapache
