Our wordpress forms use the person submitting the form in the FROM field. The emails don't get sent unless the FROM field is an email on the domain. Is there a way to make it send when the FROM field is not an email on our domain?

I had this working previously and switch to new server today.

(I know I can put one of our emails in the FROM and the person's in the REPLYTO.)

I found changing Exim Configuration Manager > Mail Sender Verification> off allows this.

    Is this the right way?

    Hello,

It's generally a better idea to use a plugin that allows for WordPress to send the email using SMTP. EX:

    WP Mail SMTP by WPForms

    Thank you.
