php mail()

    I have just install cpanel with php 5.2.5, but I can't send any email to external destination by using php mail(). Can any one help? thanks

    Please check in WHM -> Tweak settings that the below mentioned option is not checked:

    “Prevent the user "nobody" from sending out mail to remote addresses (PHP and CGI scripts generally run as nobody if you are not using PHPSuexec and Suexec respectively.)”

    Also, check if there is any error message in exim logs (/var/log/exim_mainlog)

    What is other option?

    I know that have not cheked this options is not too good, there is other option or way for not desactive this checkoption?
