PHP not parsing on new server

I have a fresh RH 7.2 server. It won't parse php scripts. I have run the latest buildapache.sea and perl. That has added the php modules to httpd.conf, but I still just get the text a php script. Any ideas?

Nick can you PLEASE tell us why this is happening? I appreciate you offering to fix it but why can't you tell us how to fix it? TWO MORE servers today.. fresh installs... php doesn't parse.

Wouldn't it cut down on support if we knew HOW to fix it or to know WHY it's happening lately all of a sudden?

i have other servers with this same error. can you go in and fix them all? is there not a fix that someone can post?
