php or mysql issue

Ill say this up front ... I am new to FC4 and more used to RHE3
I just recently switched my sites to a server running FC4 and have set up everything pretty much the same. Running Cpanel, PHP5, Mysql 5.05 as was running on the other server.

Now, I have a few scripts that run PHP and Mysql that are having odd failures. One script which is a subscription email script / notification one can make new registrations however when someone logs in with user ID and password it fails.

PHPbb when someone posts, it goes to a blank screen.
And one other script that comes quickly to mind is openrealty - cant log in there either, same thing it fails.

So I am thinking Ive done something wrong?
Any thoughts or suggestions?

The quickest way to figure out waht's going on is to check the domains error log file. More than likley, the clues you need will be there.
