I have tried repeatedly (using the WHM interface, as well as the easyapache script) to recompile PHP with modules such as GD.

Every time, I go through the process, apache restarts fine, etc BUT when I check from phpinfo() (inside a php script) the config flags shown do NOT match the ones I saw fly by the screen when easyapache ran.

For ex. I see "--with-gd" among others when easyapache is compiling/configuring PHP, but the same basic set (not including "--with-gd" or any other module I selected) is always returned by phpinfo().

What is causing this, and what should I do?
