    Has Cpanel updated anything in the last few days that could cause problems in a simple PHP script that has stoped working on 3 servers?

    No problems here.. i don't see how a cpanel update could mess w/ php scripts? Whats the error? whats coming up in the error log when you try and visit? Check permissions, do you have phpsuexec? try running /scripts/fixsuexeccgiscripts

    I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM IN MY SITE ... THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE POSTNUKE AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF A NEW CPANEL ... THE CPANEL ADDED SOME CODE AT THE END OF THE FILE mainfile.php

    this is the code at the end

    if (!preg_match("#mailto:#",$v_text)) {
    $v_text =
    preg_replace("/([\w-?&;#~=\.\/]+\@(\[?)[a-zA-Z0-9\-\.]+\.([a-zA-Z]{2,3}|[0-9]{1,3})(\]?))/i",
    "<A HREF=\"mailto:$1\">$1</A>",
    $v_text); //make all emails hot links
    }
    return $v_text;

    }

    ?>

    </textarea>
    <br>
    <input type=hidden value="/home/*****/www/website" name=dir>

    Save file as: <input type=text value="mainfile.php" name=file>
    <br>
    <input type="submit" value="Save">
    </form>
    </center></font></body>
    </html>

    yep

    i realize this post was from 2001, but here in 2004, an automated cpanel update seems to have broken nearly every php site on our server.

    tech support has been nice but unhelpful.

    the errors are on file opens and includes, and is a permissions problem somehow dealing with the PHP user. when i set the files to world writeable everything works fine. not sure i want to do that though.
