So I think I'm seeing signs of this bug, but only during garbage collection. Sites work fine writing to sessions, however 1 customer has reported getting a error message very in frequently (about 1% of the time). I haven't been able to see the error myself. But this is what she copy/pasted the error as:

    WarningUnknown0
    Warning/home/USERNAME/public_html/common/prepend.php30

Not sure why only the bolded parts came through, but line 30 of that file is where session_start() is called. So it's almost certainly a can't start session due to permissions error. And because garbage collection should happen 1% of he time, it makes even more sense.

I'm on WHM 66.0.23 with EA4. But I'm using mod_lsapi for php handler with alt-php from cloudlinux. When I do a phpinfo() it says my session save path is /tmp but there are no current sessions in it. Multiphp ini has /var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php71 set and that is in my cage configuration as @/var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php71,700. There are no files in that directory. There is also /opt/alt/php71/var/lib/php/session listed in the cage config but there are no files in that directory either. Where the heck are my session files?

    Hello,

Can you upload a PHPINFO file to the affected account and let us know the path to the php.ini file that's utilized?

    Thank you.
