PHP SQL Connect Failing

    Ok something has tried to update my php and now this is whats happening

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect()


    Extension Error!

    Your version of PHP (4.3.8) does not include MySQL support.

    Does anyone know how to get htis working looks like al my databases ar eintact just php is not allowing it

    How can i get this back to defaults

    I heard about this problem before, check for:

    extension = mysql;

    or something simillar in php.ini.

    no, youve got to recompile apache by the looks. during the compile if your doing it in ssh, press option 6 and chose the one with MYSQL SUPPORT! and all of your other options. I use, this:

    gd, xml rpc, mysql, mbstring, mcrypt, curl, curl ssl and postgre.

    You were quite correct that was it lol problem is now I accidentally changed the include path in thePHP.ini in the /usr/local/lib and now I dont know what is suppose to be there can someone help me this is a non zend version
