i cant seem to get this working, i get one or the other but not both.

using WHM to compile apache, select GD and PHPsuEXEC. its still using the php4 module not CGI.
deselecting the module i get 404 errors when trying to view scripts no matter what the permisons are set to with and without the shbang line and int he suexec log i see the commands being executed but no errors (supose i should check the php logs).

so i used the easyapache script, using option 6, select GD and PHPsuEXEC now its using php in CGI mode but there is no GD compiled in other than that it works great.

so i think i need to rebuild PHP bins manualy and add GD, but how?
lookng at the cpan it only compiles the mod version and not the cgi.

    Ok sorted it myself.

phpsuexec was using the /bin/php which didnt have GD, so i recompiled pache/php using easy apache option 6, selecting all the options i wanted then copied /usr/local/bin/php to /bin/php

working as it should now :)
