Hello, I have a Cpanel box, running redhat enterprise. I recently recompiled apache/php with suexec support, and now have noticed that the $_SERVER["HTTP_AUTH_USER"] nor $_SERVER["HTTP_AUTH_PW"] is there a way to fix this problem, without disabling suexec, as I do have a few sites that require this for modifing files within their scripts.

    TIA!

    Go on, have a guess
That is one of the restrictions of enabling phpsuexec (not suexec which is something else and relates to CGI scripts). There's no workaround for it and you'd have to go back to the application author and ask them for a version which works with phpsuexec enabled, which most modern php apps will do.
