    On ours it is defaulting to phpbb and not xmb, even though the html page is named xmb it is installing phpbb.

    WHM 5.3.0
    Cpanel 5.3.0-E102
    RedHat 7.3

    XMB replaced with phpBB All new forums/board installs will use phpBB instead of XMB.
    (5.2.0 build 71 or later only)

    Only existing boards should have to go throught the upgrade.

    Are you sure ? Also my cpanel says phpbb install , but it installs xmb , and then it permits me to upgrade (!) .

    My you tell me which is the cpanel tag on your forum installation complete page ?

    I have this tag

    &cpanel Cgi=&installboard($FORM{'url'})&&

    but this tag installs xmb .... and not phpbb

    On the first screen it has action

    &form action=&installphpbb.html&&

    Then in it, it is
    &cpanel Cgi=&installphpbbboard($FORM{'url'})&&

    Which theme are you using? I'll check if I have the same one.
