    Hi,

My whm/cpanel upgraded to 11.34.1.4/11.34.1.5 during December which included phpMyAdmin 3.5.3.

Unfortunately this phpMyAdmin version has a known bug which causes table searches to always return zero results.

This issue was fixed in 3.5.4.

Is there any news regarding this version being included in a cpanel update ?

Do you have any workaround suggestions in the mean time ?

Thanks very much for any assistance.

There is an internal case (#62672) to update phpMyAdmin to 3.5.5 and it's closed out. Keep an eye on the change log for this shortly.

I see cPanel was updated to 11.34.1 Build 6 yesterday (7th Jan) without this month old bug fixed. Good work.

    Excellent, Thanks.

Case #62672 is rolling out with cPanel & WHM 11.35 to the EDGE tier later this week as I understand it.

It's kind of disappointing that cPanel cannot take actions to release a fast "hot-fix" for such inconvenient bugs. I'm still happy that the great cPanel community can find and provide way's to fix problems that cPanel should provide much faster. From my personal view , shame on cPanel for not delivering a quite easy fix to this problem in such a long time !

Together with this bug , some of our customers reported some very weird behavior ( on more servers ), all tinyints were auto-converted to enum (0,1). We deployed the fix provided by/on this post on all our cpanel servers and hopefully that will also solve the issue we are facing.
