i have moved mysql data files to another dir.
    and changed mysql config files.
so now mysql database can be access and used.

but when using phpmyadmin,it says wrong username/password.
    what else can i do?

i think the reason may be i moved mysql data files.
how can i set the phpmyadmin working?

    thank you.

I once had the same problem. I simply reset my root mysql password, and again had access.

It worked in my situation quite some time ago.

    thank you.
i just reset the root password in WHM
    it says:
DBI connect('mysql:localhost','root',...) failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) at /scripts/restartsrv_mysql line 74
mysql has failed, please contact the sysadmin (result was "mysql has failed").

    what can i do?
    thank you.
