I try to manage my database , The phpmyadmin version is

3.5.5, It tells me latest stable version: 3.5.7

There are two pages in phpmyadmin but I can not navigate to second page
Also when I try to go to preferences and change some settings it does not save them

Will upgrading to latest stable version solve the problem

    How can I upgrade it?

What the problem seem to be?

It seems it was due to /var/temp folder being full
