I've got the classic phpMyadmin can't login bug however none of the normal fixes seem to be working.

    /scripts/upcp - nothing
    rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/cpanel ; /scripts/upcp - nothing
    http://faq.cpanel.net/show.cgi?qa=104700616405907 - nothing
    /scripts/mysqlpasswd username newpassword - Nothing

/root/.my.cnf containts the correct password as "mysql -u root -p" works if I copy/paste

    Any new ideas?

If you're using a custom theme, and it hasnt been updated lately, that would be it. We had the same problem

Add this to your header.html, and it should fix itself.
