I logged into a clients cpanel using their username and the root password, this obviously is the way to gain full access to their cpanel, I was creating a mysql database and a user but when I tried to access phpMyAdmin I was given an error which what I believe is due to the fact that I'm logged in with the root password.

    &Wrong username/password. Access denied.&

That's the one thing you can't do if you login with the root pass. To have access to myphpadmin you need to use the actual account password.

I know what the problem is, but surely there must be some sort of fix that will allow us to get around this.
