phpmyadmin won't let anyone login.

I get this error:

Welcome to phpMyAdmin 2.8.2.4


Wrong username/password. Access denied.

I have build:

WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.0-R34
CentOS 4.4 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

And run mysql remotely.

you change your password or reset it and change again. Maybe this would help if any unadded info stacks up on the server.from WHM>>My sql >>change username and password


Have you defined/created mail accounts and mysql databases yet ? That might be one of the reasons it's saying invalid user/pass - coz such accounts don't exist at all. By default there's no mysql database created when you setup your account.


Well, if that doesn't helps, a ticket for cpanel support should be in place ..

You can clear the PhpMyAdmin sessions in /tmp and /var/cpanel/userhomes/cpanelphpmyadmin/sessions folders. The session for the user will be owned by the user, so you'd simply clear the sessions that the user owns in either location.
