    Hello.

    So, I am not a host.. but a user of cpanel. I am working on a project with a friend and he needs access to phpmyadmin on my server to gain access the database which our joint website is located on. Is there a way for him to login to the database, without having my cpanel login details?

    Thanks;
    Norco

    Just add his ip under access hosts, and he can then login with the database details.

    Also providing port 3306 is not behind a firewall. You can test if it is on your local computer via command prompt and see if you can connect. If you get no response after setting up your access host IP, then you are most likely behind a firewall and need to ask your provider to pass you through.

    telnet domain.com 3306

    According to my host, the port 3306 is not being blocked by a firewall.
