phpSuexec and execCGI

    With phpSuExec enabled, php runs as CGI, like perl files does.
    So, if I want php running in any directory I must enable execCGI option in httpd.conf, but if I do it any cgi file in that directory could be executed. Talking about security, is this a good thing?
