Hey my buddy has a weird problem with PHPsuexec and his html files. Oddly, the PHP files work fine, but his html files are generating a 500 Error. He tried adding the html extension to the php mime type in .htaccess as a temp solution. When he approached support, they didn't really do much but just help him do the same in the Apache configuration so that every site won't need the mime type add in .htaccess

Has anyone else experienced something like this? Any thoughts on a solution?

    hello,

We have a easy solution .

If the server is PHPSUEXEC and you are adding Mime for .html to parse as PHP from your control panel , the entry in .htaccess will be as below

    AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .htm .html

The above line in .htaccess of PHPSUEXEC server will give Internal Server Error.

You can manually edit the .htaccess file and change it to

    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .php .htm .html

    This should solve your issue.

    Regards
    Sujith
