phpsuexec + apache installation guide

    Hi,

    Is there any guide to compile apache + phpsuexec ? or can I run with regular compile and enable phpsuexec?

    it is easy and in most cases not require any manual. just enable feature when you will update your apach+php and run. but, please check this forums for some recommendation and some troubles which may created by using this option.

    Thank you, how do we confirmed that php suexec correcly installed? do you any commaned line to test ?

    just look at your Apache Security/Version Table in cpanel/WHM news it will say PHP Suexec 0.1b instead of the PHP version


    still unconvinced make a php info page and look at the loaded modules

    I have istalled successfully, but still php folders and files are running with permission 777.
    Any idea?

    That's nothing to do with building apache and php with phpsuexec - you have to fix those yourself. Part of it can be done with /scripts/chownpublichtmls, the rest you'll have to do by hand (or do some work with find and chmod)
