pine and exim problem

Hi,

When I send email from PINE using shell, I get

>SMTP greeting failure: 2003-08-18 17:48:07 Exim configuration error in line 773:


This happens when I compose and then when I hit CTRL-X (send) using Pine.

Any suggestions on how to resolve it??

This indicates there is syntax error in your exim.conf file in line number 773:.

Please, check whether your mailserver\'s exim.conf file is configured correctly.
